Sistema informativo dell'Archivio di Stato di Venezia, descrive i fondi conservati presso l'Archivio di Stato di Venezia, le loro serie, i loro soggetti produttori e gli strumenti di ricerca.
Sono state importate nel Sistema e rese integralmente disponibili le schede elaborate nell'arco degli ultimi dieci anni, sottoposte a verifica, aggiornamento e revisione editoriale per adeguarle a questo nuovo e diverso contesto.
Sono state privilegiate le descrizioni dei fondi privi di inventario, con riguardo particolare agli archivi ottocenteschi.
SiASVe è un progetto in corso, e viene costantemente aggiornato ed arricchito di nuove descrizioni di complessi archivistici, di enti, persone, famiglie, strumenti di corredo. In questa prospettiva, anche i dati contenuti potranno subire modifiche, aggiornamenti e correzioni successive alla pubblicazione, così come si prevedono aggiustamenti anche nelle modalità della presentazione.

Information system of the State of Venice, describes the funds kept at the State Archives of Venice, their number, their creators and the research tools.

The preference was for descriptions of the funds without inventories, with particular regard to the nineteenth-century archives.
SiASVe is an ongoing project, and is constantly updated and enriched with new descriptions of archival, institutions, individuals, families, tools kit. In this perspective, the data are subject to change, updates and corrections subsequent to the publication, as well as adjustments are expected also in the manner of presentation.
